Grant Park-Zoo Atlanta-Atlanta Cyclorama

The oldest city park in Atlanta is Grant Park.  Although it is not the largest park in Atlanta, it does have two major attractions that draws visitors every year. Zoo Atlanta, which was formerly the Grant Park Zoo and the Atlanta Cyclorama featuring the 1864 Battle of Atlanta from the Civil War, has over two million visitors a year.

Grant Park neighborhood is Atlanta’s largest historic district. The area has gone through the transitions that other areas of the intown neighborhoods have gone through. Now the neighborhood is growing, people are buying homes and renovating homes.

The Grant Park Neighborhood Association and other groups host a Candlelight Tour of Homes and Artist Market during the fall season.
