You Must Have Light
It’s true, buyers want to see a light, open floorplan. Now is the time to go around the house and check each room for the amount of light it has. For showings, make sure the curtains are open and lights are on.
Once, you go through the house and see any areas you feel are left “in the dark”, you need to make sure that you add table lamps or free standing floor lamps. Make sure the lamps are neutral so that buyers aren’t noticing the lamps, but noticing how nice the home looks.
Check to see what the wattage in the bulbs are. It is always better to have a higher wattage bulb while the home is on the market so that each light will generate as much brightness as possible. You will be glad you did.
